  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of oil and gas industry experience (Texas experience preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with division orders
  • Tech-savvy with high level of proficiency in Excel
  • Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, diligent, and a team player
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Deadline-oriented and able to multi-task and appropriately balance priorities

Essential Job Functions

  • Create and maintain revenue decks/DOI, division orders and revenue owner records in accounting database
  • Process ownership changes, maintain accurate ownership records in all associated files and databases, and research title opinions, runsheets and other chain of title documents as needed to substantiate ownership
  • Process division orders received from operating partner and review calculations against JOAs, farmout agreements, leases, assignments, and title opinions
  • Maintain non-operated revenue decks in accounting database and report WI and NRI in each non-operated well across various departments
  • Resolve JIB, revenue, and division order discrepancies with operating partner
  • Correspond with landowners on questions and concerns related to interest and revenue
  • Create and process land AP payments and land owner records in accounting database
  • Analyze incoming leases and set up lease and tract data in land database
  • Maintain division order and lease records in land and accounting databases and associated filing
  • Assist in reporting extension schedules, lease obligations and acreage positions to landmen and management
  • Assist in other projects as needed or as directed by management
